post no. 3

What? I'm bored, all alone at home...

Umm, can anyone suggest any good books to keep me occupied and take with me when I go to S'ban?

Currently I have my list.

1. Pretty little liars (7 books, and I've already read 3)
2. Vampire Kisses (6 books, and I've already read 2)
3. The lost symbol (Haven't started yet)
4. The forbidden game (Also haven't started yet)
5. The luxe (3 books, and I've already read 1)
6 The hunger games (Again, haven't started yet)

And the 6 books I've read have been since school ended on Friday! =.='

next!

Right, I know that I just posted something. But since I'm in the mood now, why not, right?

So school is officially out. And I guess it took me till now to realise that. I men, don't get me wrong, but I'm gonna miss school. Like it's the first official day of the school holidays (I don't count the weekends, cause, well that is naturally a holiday xD) and I'm already kinda bored. Oh god!

Anyway, will probably be heading off to the peninsula sometime next week. Which means I'm gonna be on a really long hiatus. Why? Simple, no internet connection at my g-parent's house in Seremban. Oh well, guess I'll have plenty of time to read and write, huh?

Hmm, the prospect of going to school next year is actually kinda bleak. I mean all my form 5 friends will be gone. The form 3 I like the best will be gone and Lisa will be gone. See?! BLEAK!

You know what I've noticed though? I spent my childhood as a loner, mostly. Then I go to St Agnes and start making friends, but still my walls were really high. Then I go to All Saints and make more friends and I guess I'm not a loner no more.

This year I began getting really close to people, average freinds becoming as good as my lifelines, becoming my best friends and what not. Also got burned a lot, made wrong decisions. But do I regret it? No way!

Like this form 3 friend. I had considered him an average friend for ages, and this year he and I became really close, must be the secrets. Anyway, it took me three years to elevate him to best friend, and now he's leaving. Great.

Ok, Lisa. We've been friends since form 2. We've always been close and all, but this year was the year I really considered her my bestie. Then what happens? She's leaving! (=.=') Seeing a connection yet?

My form 5 friends. I had four years to be close to them, but I chose to only start this year. And now they're about to sit for SPM then leave.

Jinxed, much? Hahaha

Update

I haven't updated in like, forever.

Well actually, my last update was the day the exams ended, so thats like a couple of weeks ago, so it isn't really all that long ago, but still!

It's odd. I just don't quite have the will to blog much anymore. I've been spending a lot of my time working on my story, and now my stupid blog containing the stories is going retarded (=.=')!

Anyway, my current goal is to get my story published, but I have no clue how. I've read through some publishers requirements and what not. Apparently, if I really want to get published, I should go through an agent.

Right, so if by some miracle, I get an agent, I then face problem no. 2. I need to be freaking 18 at least to get my work published? Like what the heck, right?! Who comes up with these rules??!

Nevermind, deep calming breaths....

I think I'm obsessed!!!

I just got tumblr, people. I think I actually prefer tumblr to blogger. Somehow it's more user-friendly and it kinda looks nicer.

I'm just plain too lazy to update both, so if anyone knows how I can possibly link the blogs together, that would be awesome. As in, my posts from here are also published there, kind of thing...

Anyway, went to the library just now, after the moral exam since SOMEONE wouldn't let us have our 'conference' in class. And I don't know, but just being up there, it kinda made me remember all the stupid things we did during debate practice. And for old time's sake, I mostly sat on the floor, and goofed off...I think I may be okay after all!! Hahaha

Exam rant

So now, 5 subjects down, 6 to go...

And the more I dont understand why we have to sit for an excel. I mean everyone either has tips, or has the actual paper or has both! So really...why bother?

If you do well it's cause you knew what was coming out. If you dont do well, then you couldnt get your hands on the paper in time. Thats it!

So, i think its safe for me to assume you understand why im so irritated now...I mean, i get the whole exam thing and all...but spreading it out for a whole month??? =.='

The CAT

So, instead of studying like I was supposed to, I got sidetracked and decided to take a CAT (from livecareer). Here's the results;

People with interests that match their career tend to be happier at work, more self-confident and have the "staying power" to obtain the jewels of their chosen profession. This assessment is based on people's patterns of interest across different careers. Your scores indicate how your interests in various work activities compare to the interests of other people.

Your Basic Interest Profile

Administration 99
Art 34
Clerical 32
Food Service 56
Health Service 14
Industrial Art 26
Outdoors 10
Personal Service 3
Sales 87
Science 32
Teaching / Social Service 6
Writing 93

Your highest score was on Administration, which means that you enjoy the financial or day-to-day operations of a business or institution, supervising the activities of others, planning work schedules, and maintaining records. You also scored highly on Persuasive, indicating that you enjoy work which involves influencing, advising, counseling, guiding, motivating, or directing the activities of others. Your high score on the Writing scale means that you enjoy creative or technical writing. You are also likely to be interested in a broad range subjects, so finding occupations that allow you to exercise these interests would lead to higher work satisfaction for you

Your lowest score was on Personal Service. You wouldn't be satisfied in careers where the majority of your time was spent interacting with others and providing the public with services involving personal contact. You also showed low interest on Teaching/Social Service, so you wouldn't be fulfilled in careers where substantial time was spent instructing people in learning new things, helping people solve problems, and assisting others. Finally, your low score on Outdoors means that you wouldn't enjoy careers where the majority of your time was spent working outdoors, especially in agriculture with animals and/or plants. A low score on this scale also means that you probably don't enjoy the challenge of potentially dangerous situations.

Work Styles

Assertive 89
Persuasive 94
